"Mountain magic", 80x100cm oil painting
Do you know that feeling of a mountain in the distance, but it’s almost as if you can grab it? “Mountain magic” is inspired by that magical experience. Sometimes it feels hard to hike for hours and that mountain doesn’t seem to get any closer. But as soon as you let go that goal to get to the top, you suddenly lean into the trail and discover beautiful things around you. This is where the real magic happens! Focus on the trail and that’s where the real meaning comes in.
“The Wanderlust Collection” is inspired by hikes and walks through natural landscapes, inhaling the fresh air and viewing the sky. This painting is inspired by our trip to Waterton National Park in Canada, “where the prairies meet the peaks of the Rocky Mountains”. While I personally found inspiration from this place, you may find a connection in this work to another place. How wonderful is that; the beauty of art ánd nature, if you ask me 😉!
